CASA Design & CASA Construction are the Architecture & Construction divisions of Made by Casa (Pty) Ltd, a Ballito based company owned by husband and wife,Piet & Chantel Viljoen.
CASA Design is headed by Chantel, who obtained a B.Bldg.Arts degree from UPE and is registered with SACAP as a Senior Architectural Technologist. Chantel formed her own architectural company in 2005, and has been involved in many projects ranging from luxury private homes, residential developments, large scale alterations, apartments and commercial developments. Her passion lies with bespoke luxury homes where, in addition to architectural design, she also assists with interior design & decor.
CASA Construction is managed by Piet, who has 18 years experience in the building industry. He was a former partner in another construction company, as well as a formwork company. Piet actively manages each project himself, and is known for his efficiency and high quality workmanship.
They decided to unite their services and realise their dream of working together, and so CASA was founded in 2014. Piet & Chantel offer clients a completely different experience when designing and building a home. They specialize in turnkey projects and work closely with the client to bring the project to life.
Their latest completed turnkey project, 9 Corkwood Drive in Zimbali Coastal Estate, was entered in an international competition called The I nternationa I Property Awards, and received the fol lowing awards:

Received Best Architecture in Africa award. {Was one of six projects from around the world to be considered for World's Best)

Received 5 Star award for Best Home Technology in South Africa (also nominated to compete for the Best in Africa award).
Received Best Home Tech no logy in Africa award. (Was then considered for World's Best)
Received Best Home Technology International award for the World's Best Home Technology in a private residence.
